About Me
I started in the Network Marketing profession at the very young age of 14 starting as a Fuller Brush Man. One year later, I have found myself working with amazing people in amazing companies. I have gone from not even knowing what Network Marketing is to now being a professional full time Network Marketer (student also).
My belief is that our profession will become widely accepted within the next 25 years, and I plan to be leading the revolution. With the current economy and the increasing trends, it is going to be one wild ride. Let's all go out there and tell the world - we have a better way.
One question I frequently get is regarding my age of 15 and what I think about the profession, how I work, etc. Let me tell you this: coming into this profession was HARD. Without the support from my upline that I have received throughout my journey - I would have quit in my second month most likely. There is something about trying to promote a business to someone who is possibly 4X your age that makes it a little bit difficult. It is a major comfort zone breakage and takes a very long time to overcome. In fact, that is still one of the biggest things holding me back in my business. It is something that needs to be overcome over time, not something that can be done in a week. I know that I have something, I know they will respect me, it is just a subconscious barrier that I personally have.
Besides that, there are so many benefits to getting into the industry at this age. The top one in my head is the amazing amount of training and knowledge that I will have once I am 18. Moreover, I am able to develop not only my warm market list but also a very extensive list of mentors to assist me. Third, I have a knowledge of the economy and marketplace like never before that will help me not only in college and high school, but also if (may it be forbidden) I entire into the regular marketplace trading time for money.
On an ending note, if you have a teenager in your home or who you know and think they would be great in your business, please remember this:
- Always check to see the age requirement for your company. A very large majority have it at 18 which would require you to have their parents sign up and have the teen work under that or, if you are the parent, have them help you build your business and implement some way to track who gets what commissions.
-They have to be HIGHLY motivated. You cannot be bugging them to "go out and work." What happens when you tell us to clean our room? Nothing. We do it when we feel like it.
-They have to be able to balance their school work and the business.
-One of the most important things: THEY NEED TO BE WILLING TO GROW OUTSIDE OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE.
If after reading this you still believe they would be a good fit, run it by them. It may take a few times if they have to put up an investment for autoship, starter kit, etc. but if they want it, they will find a way.
Lastly, I want to stress a couple things. First, make sure you not only have a short term goal but also a lifetime goal. For example, mine is to help create 1 Million Millionaires before I die. Big order, yes, but that's what I believe I am here to do. Secondly, this business is a good and bad day business. You will have your ups and downs, sometimes more downs than ups, but always remember what your rewards will be if you follow through. Third, fake it till you make it does not mean buy expensive things to show off stating that "this will attract big hitters to my business! Everyone will want to join me!" I'd say 90% of the time, you drive people away since they can't relate to you. Lastly, and what I think is most important, never give up, always follow up within 24-48 hours, be smart. Follow that and you will be successful.
I wish you much prosperity.
